OUR BASE

One Office in Nagercoil, Clients Rather Further Afield

WebGLITS works out of a single office on Distillery Road in Nagercoil, in Kanyakumari district at the southern tip of Tamil Nadu. That is the only place we have a desk, and it is where you will find us if you want to sit down and talk through a project before committing to it.

Web work is not bound by geography though. The design, the build, the review rounds and the handover all happen over email, WhatsApp and calls, so a client in Chennai or Dubai gets the same process as one who walks in through the door. What changes is the travel, not the work.

In person — Kanyakumari district

Nagercoil, Marthandam, Kuzhithurai, Colachel, Thuckalay, Kanyakumari and the towns between them. Close enough that a site visit costs an afternoon, not a trip.

Remotely — everywhere else

Across Tamil Nadu, the rest of India, and clients in the Gulf. We have run whole projects start to finish without meeting face to face, and it works.

Working With Us From Another City

First conversation

A call or a WhatsApp message is enough to start. Tell us what the business does and what the website or app has to achieve. We will say plainly whether we are the right fit.

Scope and quote

We write down what is being built before anyone pays anything, so there is no argument later about what was included. Distance makes no difference to this step.

Build and review

You see the work on a live preview link as it comes together, and give feedback on it directly. Most clients find this clearer than sitting in a room looking at a screen.

Content in your language

We work in English and Tamil. If your customers read one and your staff the other, say so early and we will plan the site around it rather than bolting it on.

Handover

You get the hosting details, the admin login and a walkthrough of how to change things yourself. The site is yours, not something you have to come back to us for.

After launch

Maintenance, updates and hosting support continue by phone and email. We have clients we have never met whose sites we have looked after for years.

What Actually Makes a Business Rank Locally

Businesses often ask for "a page for every city we cover". We used to build exactly that, and we no longer do, because it does not work — Google treats near-identical pages that differ only by place name as doorway pages and discounts the whole site for it. We learned that the expensive way on our own website.

What does move local ranking is less exciting and more durable:

  • A complete Google Business Profile

Correct category, real address, real opening hours, photographs of the actual premises. This is the single biggest factor for most local businesses, and it is free.

  • Consistent contact details everywhere

The same business name, address and phone number on your site, your profile and any directory that lists you. Mismatches quietly undermine all of it.

  • Genuine reviews, gathered steadily

A handful of real reviews arriving every month beats fifty that all appeared in one week. We build review requests into the handover so it happens by itself.

  • Pages about what you actually do

One well-written page per service, with real detail, prices where you are willing to publish them, and photographs of your own work. Depth, not duplication.

If you want a page targeting a specific city, we will build one — but it has to earn its place with real content about real work there. That is a different offer from generating a hundred of them, and it is the only version we are willing to put our name to now.

Questions We Get Asked About Location

No. Our office is in Nagercoil and that is where we meet clients face to face, but most of our work is done remotely. Websites, apps and marketing campaigns are built and handed over the same way whether you are ten minutes away or in another country.

Yes, and we recommend it if you are in or near Kanyakumari district. Our address is on the contact page. For clients further away we do the same conversation over a call or video call, which in practice works just as well.

We removed them. There were thousands of those pages and they all said the same thing with a different place name, which helped nobody. Everything they covered is now on the individual service pages, written once and properly.

That depends on your business, not on where we sit. Local ranking comes from your Google Business Profile, your real address, genuine reviews and pages about what you actually do. We set those up properly rather than mass-producing city pages, which is the approach that gets sites penalised.

Yes. We have worked with clients in the Gulf and elsewhere. Time-zone overlap with India is usually good enough for a daily call, and we agree the working hours before the project starts.
